KML Developed Driveshaft Center Support Units for a Name Brand Pickup

KML is a pioneer in China to develop driveshaft center support units for European and American vehicles.

Recently, KML was invited by an auto OEM customer to give a solution to driveshaft center support for a name brand pick up truck.

These driveshaft center support units are designed by KML R&D Department to meet the stringent conditions, including big temperature range, splashing effect, eccentric motion to bearing raceway, long service life and so on.

We not only work out new designs, but also build assimilation test rigs to validate our designs. Our products have successfully passed many stringent tests as OEM customer's request, especially for rubber cushion. The rubber cushion must pass heat aging testing first, such as heat deterioration, ultraviolet carbon and ozone deterioration. After that, our products still successfully passed the durability tests by 2.8 x 106 Cycles under +60°C circumstances. Apart from this, Our products also passed cold resistance test under -40°C circumstances by 1.0 x 106 Cycles .

KML not only has the engineers with rich experience to give professional solutions to customers, but also has special test benches and rigs to verify the designs and the performance of the products.

KML Drive Shaft Center Support Units

Normally, the housing of the drive shaft center support units needs to be zinc-plated for having performance of antirust, but the process of galvanization will pollute the air and environment. Meanwhile, it will also harm the health of the workers in the workshop. In order to solve this problem, KML has put technical force to develop a new technology of surface treatment --Plastic coating process.

Compared with zinc-plated housing, plastic coating housing not only has better performance on spalling resistance, moisture proofing, corrosion proof and rustproof, but also is environmental friendly, because the process of plastic housing will not discharge of harmful substances to pollute the soil, water or the atmosphere.

KML has successfully developed plastic-coating process and replaced zinc-plated with it since the year of 2005. After the appearance of KML drive shaft center support units with plastic-coating, it has been very popular in the market due to its high quality and competitive price, especially in North America and South America.

The Double Ninth Festival

The "Chong Yang Festival" is celebrated on the ninth day of the ninth lunar month, and it is as such known as the Double Ninth Festival.

The festival began as early as in 475 - 221 BC. According to the yin/yang dichotomy that forms a basis to the Chinese world view, yin represents the elements of darkness while yang represents life and brightness. The number nine is regarded as yang. The ninth day of the ninth month is a double yang day, hence the name "Chong Yang Festival". (Chong means "repeat" in Chinese.)

As nine is pronounced 'jiu' meaning long in Chinese, so people endow the word "jiu" with the meaning of longevity with a person's life. Chongyang Festival was designated as Senior's Day - a day to respect the elderly and to let them enjoy themselves. Members of a family also accompany their elders to have a relaxing day in a natural setting while wishing health and happiness upon them.

During the Chongyang Festival, Chongyang cake and chrysanthemum wine is the traditional cuisine. Climbing mountains and admiring beautiful chrysanthemums and holding dogwood are interesting events that add to the festival creating a joyous atmosphere.

It is said that by ascending to a high mountain, diseases could be prevented. Now, family relatives or good friends gather to climb mountains to enjoy the beautiful scenery and share happiness of the holiday with each other.

As chrysanthemums blossom during the Chongyang Festival, it is a pleasure to admire the various chrysanthemums in parks. Grand chrysanthemum exhibitions are held in big parks that attract numerous visitors.

The custom as wear dogwood, a kind of plant that can dispel the disaster in people's values, was popular in the old days. Women and children like to wear a fragrant pouch with dogwood sewed in. However, this custom is currently not very popular at all.

Protection of the environment is a global issue. All over the world we feel the effects of global warming. When I think back to when I was a young boy, the seasons were very definite. I remember winters with so much snow that I used to jump off of my parents house into a pile of snow or build snow forts tall enough for a person to stand in. That can no longer be done to the extent that it did 30 years ago. Now the winters are generally mild and the summers becoming much warmer. If climate has changed so much in the past 30 years, what will happen after the next 30 years? Have been born and raised in Edmonton, I've experienced many things very unique to that part of the world. Edmonton is located in the province of Alberta which is in western Canada. There is a tightrope that is walked every day in Alberta which is the balance between the environment and industry. Alberta is the home of the largest oil deposit in the world and substantial amount of oil is being produced every day. On the other side of the coin we have the most beautiful landscape and some of the most photographed mountains in the world.

There are many things that I have seen and done in my youth that I want the generations to follow to enjoy the most breathtaking scenes ever. To see a mountain goat or elk just a few meters away from you. To see the crystal blue lakes is amazing and it is something everybody should be able to see.

Canada is becoming much more aggressive in the preservation of our environment. The national park system is expanding to maintain more of our land in an undisturbed condition. Programs are being introduced to conserve energy and cut down on the pollution we create. Each of us has to do our part to ensure future generations can experience the world's natural beauty. In KML Canada, we try to cut down on our energy consumption by turning the air conditioning off when we leave or keep lights we do not use off. We have established a car pool to work where ever possible in an effort to save gasoline and reduce emissions harmful to the environment. These are only a few things we try to do but every effort counts. Please do your part to help save our planet as well.
